Hobbywing Adds XeRun V10 G5 21.5T & 25.5T TORQUE Motor Versions
This is a high-speed on-road stock racing motor (1/10 and 1/12 stock classes) — squarely in Hobbywing's historically NOT-covered category for this show (on-road racing electronics). Despite being a genuine new release with real specs, it doesn't fit the crawler/trail-focused scale niche the show favors from this brand, capping it near the bottom of the range.

Hobbywing introduced the XeRun V10 G5 13.5T motor, built on a new performance platform for 1/10th and 1/12th stock racing classes. Compared to the V10 G4R 13.5T, it offers 3.9% higher max power output, over 4% improved efficiency under load, improved heat dissipation with 15% larger vent area, a 13g weight reduction, shifted center of gravity, upgraded rotor coating, adjustable hall timing tolerance (down to under 1°, or 0.2° when professionally tuned), and adjustable hall-to-magnet ring spacing via replaceable shims.
Hobbywing announced a new generation of its flagship XeRun V10 competition motor, the V10 G5, now available for preorder. The G5 offers 3.9% higher max output power, over 4% improved efficiency, and is 13g lighter than the previous G4R version. It features a redesigned endbell for better heat dissipation, adjustable Hall timing and sensing distance, a modular design for easy maintenance, and comes in two 13.5T variants: SPEED (for medium/low grip, larger tracks) and TORQUE (for medium/high grip, smaller tracks).
Hobbywing has expanded its XeRun V10 G5 brushless motor lineup with two new Torque versions: 13.5T Torque and 17.5T Torque. The 13.5T is now available in both a Standard version (higher RPM, PN 30820461, for lower-load applications like on-road blinky) and a Torque version (heavy-duty rotor, PN 30820462, for high-load applications like off-road blinky). The 17.5T Torque version rounds out the range with a 3000KV rating, giving racers more precise power options for different track conditions and event classes.
Hobbywing has expanded its XeRun V10 G5 motor lineup with new 21.5T and 25.5T TORQUE versions, offering more power options for different track conditions and driving styles. The 21.5T TORQUE has a 2500KV rating and the 25.5T TORQUE has 2100KV, both supporting 1-3S lithium batteries, weighing 138g and 135g respectively, and designed for 1/10 and 1/12 STOCK racing classes, paired with the XERUN XR10 PRO G3/G3X ESC.
