HoBao Extreme VTE2 1/8 On-Road EP Roller Launched
This is a clearly new launch (redesigned chassis, specific new features and price) which would normally earn full major-brand kit range (40-70), but it's an on-road 1/8 EP roller from Hobao, a brand never featured on the show. Novelty is present so it doesn't cap at 45 for lack of newness, but the category (major-brand on-road kit) combined with an unproven-fit brand keeps it toward the low-middle of that range rather than higher.

HoBao's Extreme VTE2 is a new 1/8 scale 4WD on-road electric roller, sold 80% pre-assembled for $467. It features a redesigned lightweight hard-anodized aluminium chassis (390g), flexible front/rear motor mounting for motors up to 140mm, carbon fiber ESC tray, adjustable body supports, 3-position battery stopper, oil-filled 17mm big bore shocks, and hardened steel driveshafts, with a total car weight of 2360g.
