SkyRC Launches GD-401A Drift Car Gyro
This is a genuinely new SkyRC release (launch framing, specific specs), but it's an on-road/drift electronics component—outside both the show's core scale-crawler focus and SkyRC's historically covered patterns (tire warmers, thermal cameras, dirt bike models). SkyRC racing electronics like chargers/gyros for touring/drift have not been covered historically, so despite novelty this caps in the lower-mid range as a minor-brand-adjacent electronics item rather than hitting the crawler/electronics
Evidence (1)
SkyRC has introduced the GD-401A, a compact CNC aluminum gyro stabilizer designed for RWD drift cars, compatible with touring, rally, and short course models. It features a 32-bit processor with high-precision MEMS gyro, 9 preset drift curves selectable via a single button, adjustable EPA servo travel (180°), one-touch reverse setup for different chassis mounting configurations, and LED status indicators. It measures 22x21x9mm and weighs approximately 12g.
