Tamiya Unveils 35394: 1/35 Scale German Tractor RSO/01
This is a 1/35 scale static plastic military model kit (WWII German tractor), not an RC vehicle at all. It falls entirely outside the show's RC scope and doesn't match any of Tamiya's historically-covered RC patterns (licensed scale bodies, RTR platforms, chassis refreshes). No RC relevance whatsoever, so it scores near the floor despite being a genuine new-product announcement.

Tamiya is set to reveal item No. 35394, a 1/35 scale plastic model kit of the German RSO/01 tracked tractor, at the 2026 IPMS/USA National Convention in Indiana. The kit depicts the spring 1943-onward production variant with its distinctive rounded pressed-steel cabin, measuring 126mm long and 64mm wide. Features include a display option for the cargo bed canvas cover (extended or frame-only), partial-link tracks with single-piece straight sections, one driver figure, two decal options (including an Eastern Front 1944 marking), and pre-cut window masking stickers.
